Simone
Biles began her rise to fame by winning two World Championship golds and the all-around championship at just 16 years old. Four more Worlds medals followed in 2014, and 2015. Rio 2016 was her first Olympics and she became an instant star. Biles did not disappoint us: She won the gold medals at all-around and teams, as well as the vault, floor and beam. Her dominance stems from a total mastery of gymnastic fundamentals: with her tiny, 4'8" frame, incredible athletic ability, and an extremely low centre of gravity that she is built to become a world-class gymnast. Combine that with a high level of effort, amazing imagination with regard to her art, and massive levels of character She is nearly invincible.
