Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she trains athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman in history to have won the CrossFit Games two times. Her second place finish was at the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity media personality. She became famous for becoming the first woman who taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 In addition, she is known for winning both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. She was a keen sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. She ranked at the top of the list in a field of 70. She was not able to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won the silver medal same year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances earned her the title. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she took home a gold. Then in 2021 she was awarded a bronze. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is a rising athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are uploaded.
