Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. The most famous of her characters is Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. But, she is to be primarily an artist. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling in since she was only 9 years old. At the age of 12, her music took an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. From that point on, there's been nothing but positive. Orrantia has Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and lived her life in America. Her aim is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs and studying the Spanish language. One such song is "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor after she submitted an YouTube performance video. The judge gave her the four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. Her initial audition was in the show "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition other songs. The group was removed from the show during the fifth week of live performances.
